[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Mac EPS file on an IBM PC? What about printing PS disk file?

nolan@tssi.UUCP (Michael Nolan) (11/15/90)

I have several encapsulated postscript files on my Mac, which doesn't have
a postscript printer.

I have an IBM PC at work that does have a postscript printer, and WordPerfect
5.1 is supposed to be able to read encapsulated postscript files.

What does it take to convert the Mac EPS file to use it with WP on the IBM PC?

Second question: (Probably equally stupid!)

Pagemaker and other Mac programs can be set to dump poscript output to disk.
Can I then print this file on my IBM PC/Postscript printer?

As EPS is a binary format you may need to find a way to convert the EPS to
a PS text file on the Mac and then transfer that over with Apple File
Exchange.
