I recently noticed a '387 emulator on simtel which purports to allow you to run any software that requires a '387 coprocessor. Does anyone have any experience with this? Specifically, can I run autocad version >= 9? I appreciate that I will not get the performance of the coprocessor but will autocad even run? Thanks, -Graham

I appreciate that I will not get the It's the only 87 emulator that has worked in my 386SX so far. I haven't tested it with AutoCAD but Matlab runs just fine with it.

I don't know about the '387 emulator (I don't have a '386), but I've tried em87v1_3.arc (<msdos.sysutl>), and Autocad version >= 9 works on my '286 with it. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ _ Plopp, ssssssssshhhhh ,.( ) Glub, glub, glub, glub, guunk ( )., Bang!
