>I know Appletalk boards for PC's exist, but I am wondering if any >software exists to allow an IBM PC clone with an Appletalk(Localtalk) >board to run TCP/IP via an Appltetalk network through a Kinetics >Fastpath box. Strangely enough I have just implemented such a system using KA9Q courtesy of Phil Karn and a Packet Driver from the Clarkson collection courtesy of Katie Stevens who also cleared up a lot of problems for me. I got it going on the 15 Nov 1990 and no problems at all, and it provides TELNET, FTP etc to the INTERNET via AppleTalk and ethernet. As I did not really do much I am reluctant to post a full description as all the credit should go to others ie Karn and Stevens. The funny thing is that it came about due to a total communications break down, I did the job for the wrong person who never asked for it, for the wrong reason, I misunderstood the request, but it turned out that it was something badly needed. If anyone wants details mail me and I will explain what I did in full.
