I have a little problem what I hope somebody can help me solve. I have somebody who runs a magazine here in San Diego that lists commercial spaces for lease. Currently, he's doing his billing by hand. People are billed based on how many spaces they have listed with him. I'm going to write a program that will enable him to maintain this database of spaces (among other things) and he needs me to look into the possbility of finding a shrink wrapped general ledger package that would do the billing for him. (the database will be DBASE compatable). What this GL package would need to be capable of doing is calculating the current amount due per person based on a user defined set of rules. It would have to be capable of utilizing the database(s) that my program is going to maintain. In addition, it will need to merge this information into the AR portion of the package. If worse comes to worse, what I probably could do is perform the billing myself then create and ASCII file that I would import to the GL package for AR's. If somebody knows of *any* package that could do what I need, or can give me some tips, I would greatly appriciate it.
