[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] CP/M dos ...

ins173w@monu4.cc.monash.edu.au (mr r.c. begg) (10/16/90)

I have a rather embarrasing question to ask the NET,

I have am going to admit to having a rather old CP/M machine sitting here,
specifically an Intertec Superbrain, now this machine still works even after
being drowned a few years ago. The problem is that the last surviving
DOS disk was destroyed. I was wondering if anyone else will admit to having
one of these things lying around and has a copy of the DOS disk. Any other
software would be appreciated. This one even ran quad density disks, so
the quad operating system would be preferred.

Thanks in anticipation, (otherwise I have a good doorstop I suppose)

PS: I am posting to this news group because I couldn't think of any others
more likely to respond (anyone know of a comp.cpm newsgroup ?)

If you are interested, I have an old CompuPro machine, and it
still works fine, (havn't used it for quit a spell) and I
am sure that I still have the software that went with it.

If you think that would be of help, I will see what's around.

There is a CPM newsgroup around...in fact it seems pretty active. I'm
afraid I don't know it's address However SIMTEL20 both has lots of archives
of CPM stuff but also maintains copies of the newsgroups goings on. Try
them.

The newsgroup in question is 'comp.os.cpm'.

comp.os.cpm is gatewayed to and from the Internet mailing list Info-CPM.
If you don't get comp.os.cpm send mail to:

   Info-CPM-Request@WSMR-SIMTEL20.ARMY.MIL

to request that you name be added to the mailing list.
