[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Mysterious shrinking CGA image

Anyone know what causes a CGA screen (in text mode) to scrunch down so 
it has 1-2" margins on top & bottom?  This is happening to a couple
infrequently-used IBM-PC's in our lab.  Thanks for any information.

Yes. The monitor is starting to lose part of the vertical deflection
circuitry. You *may* be able to get it adjusted or repaired.
