Has anyone got a little program that will split large (ASCII) files into smaller ones of a nominated size? There must be some about, but I've not run across one. Any advice will be gratefully received. Denis Wright.

Take a look at split.exe in /pc/ts/tsutlc16.arc and/or filecut.exe in /pc/ts/tsfcom23.arc. I attempted to reply to your post via mail, but your address is not recognized here. If you support XXENCODE, I can send you several utils that do what you want. The reason I can't use UUENCODE is because our site has problems with certain versions of IBM's EBCDIC/ASCII conversion, and uuencoded material does not pass unscathed through here. :-( Send me an address in mail if you can.
