A while ago, somebody said that he found virus in a SoundBlaster disk. The folks at Creative Labs were kind enough to open up some of their packages to check and had found no virus that was described by the person nor of any other kind. The packages checked include the optional CMS chip package. NO virus whatsoever was found. I hope he has gotten rid of all the virus on his computer. But I if I may, one way he can confirm that the virus comes from a certain source is by asking the store or product manufacturer to open a few of the suspected packages (in which Creative Labs was kind enough to do in this case and came up empty).
