JIM (KY2D), Having gone through the removal of a roof mount similar to the one you describe I would suggest the following: 1. Purchase some HARDWOOD doweling the size (or slightly larger) than the holes left by the screws. 2. Bore out the holes to ensure a snug fit for the dowels. 3. After covering the dowels with roof tar, drive them into the holes. 4. Then liberally apply additional roof tar over the dowels. NOTE: If you drive the dowel in too low water will have a tendency to puddle over the dowel head, therefore, it is better to leave about 1/4" dowel above the roof line. I learned the above through personnal experiance, and now sleep in a dry bedroom. Good Luck, 73's Rich (WA6PEZ)
