Hi, I am looking for a simple program to let me print sheet music. It dosn't need to play the music.(I can do that) A source I can FTP to would be great! (it takes a lot of time to draw those notes on lined paper) Mike Ray MER@CRNLNS

I don't know where to get it, but a company I used to work for ordered it through the mail, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. Another alternative is MuTeX, if you want really good results, but it takes a lot more effort to enter a score. You can FTP it from a varitety of places, including SIMTEL I believe. Music Printer Plus is available from Temporal Acuity Products in Bellevue, WA (800) 423-2673. It's pricey at $595, but worth it if you're stuck with Big Blue for medium-serious printing. You can enter the notes from a MIDI keyboard if you have an MPU or music feature card. It does a nice job of printing, even on a 9-pin dot matrix printer. (MPP has lots of other features (transposing, editing, MIDI performance) in addition to its printing capabilities. --gary -- Gary A.
