[net.ham-radio] Potential Sked

brucec%tektronix.csnet@csnet-relay.arpa (08/13/85)

Bob;

I might suggest 15 mtrs instead of 20. Starting out w/CW and then
moving up sounds good, I haven't done any CW for a long time and
would like to get back in practice.

0200 (which is 1900 hrs PDT) is OK except Mon. and Wed. On those
days I have masters swim practice which lasts until about 19:30.

Just as a check on netmail delay, I am sending this at 9:45 am 8/12/85.

Bruce,

First, I received your message 8:11 AM EDT, so delivery is nearly 20
hours.

Assuming you won't receive this in time for tonight (Tuesday, Aug 13), I
suggest we try for Thursday, Aug 15. Lets use 15 meters as you suggest,
but the band is often quite dead by 2200 local time (0200 UTC) here in
the East. Just in case, lets start at 21.06 Mhz with a QSY to 14.06 at
0215 UTC if we haven't hooked up by then. I'll listen Friday, August 16
as well, but I'll be out of town for the next few days after that, so
the next I'll be available is Thursday, August 22.

I'll keep the CW slow, but hopefully we can make a solid phone contact
which would enable us to convey more information (hi).

73 es hpe to c u Thursday nite.
