[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] RmDriv - disable any drive

devolder@matt.ksu.ksu.edu (Eric DeVolder) (12/17/90)

Hi! I just recently wrote a program called RmDriv which you can use to
disable any disk drive on your DOS machine. In addition, you can use it
to enable any physical drive that you disabled.

I wrote this program with the protetion of data on certain drives on my
machine in mind. However, I have distributed a successful first release to
several people, and have had no complaints of any foul play. So, on this
note, I wouldn't mind distributing the program even further.

If you would like a copy, send a note to me at the following address:

RmDriv is a slick program that does not damage anything. All it does is to
toggle a few bits in the DOS data structures.

Thank you,
eric
