My nephew is graduating from college and Santa is bringing him a computer. It is still to be determined if it is to be a Mac or an IBM clone. If it is the latter (likely), I will be getting it for him and helping him get started, since his experience is limited to Macs. He will be a public school teacher and one thing he will want to do with the machine is to aid in grading papers. I'm sure some of you university types are bound to have some such software already available. If so, I would appreciate some recommendations, or, if public domain, some sources for obtaining it. I can't be much more specific about just what he wants to do with it and he may be just as well off with a spreadsheet that could easily average grades.
