I am calling for discussion re the creation of a newsgroup for discussions of CD-ROM hardware, software and diskware (or whatever you call the round things :-) plus info on vendors and prices. Related issues, like networking CD-ROM systems and legal issues could also be discussed. The group would be called alt.cd-rom, with an option to move to comp. some time in the future (if traffic/intrest makes this plausible), unmoderated.
