[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Telix/Ansi problems..

tscott@plains.NoDak.edu (Swink the Killer Ferret) (01/12/91)

I am having a problem with the communication program Telix 3.12 and
was wondering if anyone can help me.

I have a 386SX IBM clone w/ a 512k Paradise SVGA monitor. It seems
that Telix doesn't like to give me special characters (like IBM
border/menu lines) or different colors of text when I log on to
BBS's that support those kinds of things. However, when I use
PROCOMM on these same BBS's the colors and special characters
*DO* appear. So, I don't think it has anything to do with the
way my computer is setup...

ANy insight/tips will be much appreciated.

Try hitting "[ALT] T" and then select ANSI.
