Whether it is worth the price depends on whether you want to write
Windows 3.0 software. If you want to, then, there is really no choice
(other than Whitewater's ACTOR 3.0, you may want to check this out
further).
So far, there is only two C compilers which can play with the Windows 3.0
SDK. Microsoft C (of course) and Zortech C++ (version 2.1 or later). The
Zortech stuff is both a C compiler as well as a C++ compiler.
Street price for Windows 3.0 SDK is about US$300+.

There is also another C compiler that will work with windows and comes with the needed routines to write programs for MS Windows. It is TopSpeed C Exteneded, list $395, our price $329. Includes window libraries and source code for those libraries! -- __________________________________________________________ Ken Isacson Sysop - Board Of Trade BBS GT 016/001 kji@vpnet.chi.il.us (815) 753 - 0042 ----------------------------------------------------------
