[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Errata to Frequently Asked Questions

raymond@math.berkeley.edu (Raymond Chen) (01/19/91)

[Hardware people may skip ahead to the second paragraph]

I have been informed that the TRICKLE servers DTUZDV1 and DB0FUB11 are
no longer operational (they were shut down on 1 Sep 90 and Spring 90,
respectively). My apologies to everyone this has inconvenienced.
(And in the future, could somebody like tell me about these things
when they notice?)

I have uploaded new versions of the old.questions and products files
to math.princeton.edu:pub/csip. They are still available by mail
server in the same manner. For those who don't know what these files are,

old.questions = a selected index of previously-asked questions on
                comp.sys.ibm.pc.*, comp.os.msdos.*, comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d

products = a selected index of comments/questions regarding "What does
           everyone think of Vendor X?"

Articles between 1 April 1990 and 10 Jan 1991 are included.
