I just upgrade my Northgate Super Micro 386-12 to a 386-33 and thus now have a fully functional, 1 year old motherboard sitting around in a static free wrapper collecting dust. Thus, I thought I'd see what you folks would think of buying it. Specs: Intel 80286-12 @ 1 wait state 1MB of DRAM installed, not expandable without special card ( I don't have it) Uses discrete logic Intel 80287-10 math coprocessor installed 2 x 8 bit slots, 4 x 16 bit slots Complete documentation The board is not a screamer compared to some 286-12s, but it does ROCK SOLID and BULLETPROOF. I have run just about every conceivable progam I can think of and it has worked flawlessly. This list nicludes: Games (F19SF, A10, LHX, many Sierra games, Lucasfilm games, etc. ) Windows 3.0 DOS 3.31 Apps (WP 5.1, MS Word For Windows, Aldus Pagemaker) CADD (autocad 9, Generic Cadd LIII, DesignCADD) Drawing (MS PAINT, PS PLUS, DrawPerfect) Utilities (Norton 4.51, 5.0, PC Tools 6, Mace 1990) The total asking price is 175 dollars and shipping.
