I'm considering the use of a multiuser MS-DOS compatible operating system for a 386 platform as an alternative to Unix and I would appreciate any and all opinions/experience with them. The application which would run on this beastie is a Clipper database program with at most 4 users. The tasks involved are primarily light data entry and report generation and is not very CPU intensive. I read a comparison article on some of these OS's and PC-MOS seems to be the best one, but it still had some minor glitches. BTW, recommendation of multiport i/o cards (Digiboard...) would be nice also. As they say in Japan: Sanks alot /Toshi toshi@cunixf.cc.columbia.edu
