Have you ever wanted to run a program just once every so often? I wrote a small program that I use to run a virus checker and disk compression every 10 days. The program sets the DOS errorlevel, so it works great in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file. You specify the name of your options file (which is described by the -HELP option on the program) and the program helps you with the rest, giving you examples. If anyone out there might want to check it out, it's on my machine (hobbes.catt.ncsu.edu) under the directory /pub/ibm with the filename CHECK.ZIP. Use anonymous ftp. Let me know what you think...
