Ref mine of 26 August and the several responses: My friend simply dialed a phone number one higher than the TAPR number. When it rang immediately, he concluded, as do I, that the "All circuits are busy..." message was a sham to discourage us all from calling and REALLY blocking up all the circuits. It sure had an effect on me (and others). But I wish I had gotten through. 73, Len

Dialing a number one higher might not prove anything. I know for a fact that circuits were busy out of LA to Phoenix. Note that many CIRCUIT BUSY recordings may ring several times before the voice announcement begins. --Lauren--
