[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Carbon Copy and like-program, how good are they?

Hi folks.  I run a bbs and occasionally need to do maintenance from
remote.  How can Carbon Copy help me?

1) Please give me a summary of how you use Carbon Copy.  Like, do you
   need someone at the remote side to run a child program for you?

2) Both the COM1 and COM2 are used in the bbs, can I run use COM3 or a
   "customized" COM3 (i.e. use another interrupt other than 4)?

3) The only way I can see that I don't have somebody at the remote side
   doing some startup act is by having the Carbon Copy or like program
   run TSR so that anytime the TSR detect my call in, it will let
   me do the Carbon Copy thing.  But since I am running Desqview, the
   Carbon Copy could be also be one of the concurrent task instead of TSR.
   Anything like that on the market?
