I am looking to purchase one of those portable cases that have a
9" SONY VGA color monitor installed (case is similar to the Compaq
Portable case). I plan on installing my own MB and periphs, and
am just interested in the case/monitor/supply.
Anybody recommend a good source? The only ones I've seen are in
the Computer Shopper, priced around $1400 and the suppliers are
all from the west coast (kinda tough to check ot quality and
fit via mail-order on something like this). I would prefer a vendor
in the Chicago area, but would be willing to take recommendations
from someone whose already done this.

P.S. Anybody hack a Compaq Portable and add the 9" color monitor?
If so, how did it go? I would consider this as an alternative
I don't need the horsepower, just the color :^) [this is going to be
a salesman's demo box].
