Well what I want to do is connect my PC to a NeXT that I am buying.
The NeXT comes with NFS and TCP/IP support. I'm buying an 8bit
ethernet card for the PC and I need software for NFS. I dont want to buy
PC-NFS fom Sun (too expensive - $500). I need to connect the two machines
so I can have floppy drive support (I'm buing a cube optical but no floppy).
But if NFS is gonig to cost me $500 I might as well buy a floppy for the
NeXT since that is about the price range for NeXT floppies.
So what I want is the location of some public domain/shareware stuff.
It does not have to make the PC act like a server, a client only is
fine since the NeXT can be a server. Please email. BTW I really need
sites that can email me the software since I don't have the ability to
FTP.
Also if you know of comercial packages that don't cost an arm and a leg
please give me the names. I don't mind paying for software, I just don't
want to pay $500 for software and card. ~$250 for software and card would
be fine.
