Many thanks to all who responded to the clock problem with my PS/2 50Z. Some of the replies came from people with similar problems requesting that I post the solution when it was found, so here goes: The problem I was having is that the system clock would not update when the computer was turned off (the time displayed when it was rebooted would be the time that the last session ended). Two possible sources were indicated: 1. DASDDRVR.SYS was not correctly installed in CONFIG.SYS 2. A defective timer chip on the system board. Both of these will produce the problem. A check of my config.sys eliminated the first possibility and, as of today (one day before the warranty expired :-)), I have a new system board.
