A friend of mine is looking to purchase dBase II. He needs dBase II because he has an old computer, several thousand lines of source code, and doesn't want to spend hundreds of dollars for the program. He would prefer to get the complete documention. However Aston-Tate has told him that if he finds someone with a registered version of dBase II he can send that serial number and $75 to them and then they would legally allow him to copy dbase II.
