RE: Solution to Memory problems when using the TCP/IP Lanmanager stack
on PC workstations.
If you use the "QEMM386" pc memory management software from Quaterdeck you
can get about 570k free on your PC after loading Lanmanager workstation
software with TCP/IP protocol stack. This also seems to work ok with
windows 3 (Takes a bit of playing around to get it right though!!)
(If you are using Windows 3 a company called visionware make X windows product that uses the LM TCP/IP stack as well . This allows you to have X windows from your UNIX box and Microsoft windows running next to each other. It is real neat !!)
