just a few question for ibm-pc system programmer out there. Either e-mail
answers or the reference to look it up would be apreciate. Please don't post

1. how a .exe file can supress the gabrage hex char? examples
c:type command.com
2. what is the different in composite & rgb cga programming? example
some game will tailor to either composite & rgb display (jet)
how it can do that (I know they put data into a special segment
of memory to display then what...)
3. when turbo debug run where is it in memory? is it a big TSR ?
how can the top memory is available to load the err_program to debug?

is there more for the ibm-at? a book is ok
5. Can anything writes on a write-protected-floppy? i.e. a software
that overide the notch? a mean virus?
6. Can virus survive a format in any form( bad sector? ) ? what if
format from a clean DOS and format report no bad sector?
7. how to temporary write-protect a hard disk ? source wanted. I have
seen a couple but don't how effective it is
8. how to intercept a interupt call? intercept a procedure? example:
intercepting a virus attempting to write to an .exe file
9. how to make screen flash to replace warning bell? this is a neat idea
from some commerial software. I just want to see how it's done i.e.
