[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Too Good to Be True?

btysingr@uncmed.med.unc.edu (Barbara R. Tysinger) (02/08/91)

Yesterday I received an offer in the mail for free software from a company
I have never heard of as a promotional incentive. I would appreciate any
information anyone can provide on the following:

	Ohio Distinctive Software
	4588 Kenny Road
	P.O. Box 20201
	Columbus, OH 43220
	(614) 459-0453

Software (4 programs) called: 1) Executive Diet Helper 2) Menu
Planner 3) Weight Loss Planner 4) Food Label Analyzer

The company is making the offer to "increase public awareness of our
software" and states that "these programs are the exclusive products of
ODS and are not available from any other source"

So, is this too good to be true? Deadline for ordering is Feb 15, HELP!
