[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] HD Type List

jc58+@andrew.cmu.edu (Johnny J. Chin) (02/07/91)

Does anyone know where I can get an up to date list of hard disk drive types?
Including manufacturer, drive model number, head count, cylinder count,
read/write pre-comp, sectors per track, and parking cylinder.

Thanks.

It can be either the monitor or the video card. But I would say it would
be a better chance that the card is faulty. The monitor can be bad
because the sync circuit can be weak and work without lots of pixels
being displayed. I have seen it before. <BW>
