Does anyone know where I can get an up to date list of hard disk drive types? Including manufacturer, drive model number, head count, cylinder count, read/write pre-comp, sectors per track, and parking cylinder. Thanks. __________ Carnegie Mellon University ___ / \ / / /_/ / /\/ _/ / / / "Happy Computing ..." __/. /__ / / / / / / / / -- Computer Dr. / / Internet: Johnny.J.Chin@andrew.cmu.edu / ------- / 4730 Centre Ave. #412 BITnet: jc58@andrew \__________/ Pittsburgh, PA 15213 UUCP: ...!uunet!andrew.cmu.edu!jc58

It can be either the monitor or the video card. But I would say it would be a better chance that the card is faulty. The monitor can be bad because the sync circuit can be weak and work without lots of pixels being displayed. I have seen it before. <BW>
