[net.ham-radio] British 6-meter Privileges

Further clarification...

According to the "World Above 50 MHz" column in the September 1985 QST,
one hundred G-land hams have permits that allow them to transmit on
6 meters after 2230Z. The column didn't say what time the Gs must stop
transmitting on 6. The column also says that both 6/10-meter crossband
as well as 6-meter single-band QSOs were had on July 2, 1985.

In addition, the "IARU News" column in the same issue of QST said that
the 50.0 to 50.5 MHz band is expected to be allocated to British hams
sometime this fall.
