I am looking for a way to read 8" floppies on an IBM PC. Unfortunately, the format of the disk is not known. I would like to be able to read the disk block by block (not at the device level though) without paying any special attention to the directory information. Please e-mail me if you know of any hardware or software that can be used to do this. C library routines would be ideal.
