[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Panasonic and Video Drivers for Windows NEEDED!!!!

jdb@reef.cis.ufl.edu (Brian K. W. Hook) (02/24/91)

I am in desperate need of Windows drivers for the following things:

Panasonic KXP1180 and KXP1191 printer drivers
Paradise 640x400x256 color video drivers
Packard Bell Legend386SX 800x600x16 color video drivers

The Packard Bell uses the OAK Video BIOS, and I believe the OAK Chipset.
So if anyone knows where this stuff can be found, any help would ne
appreciated.

Brian

The KXP1180 and KXP1191 both emulate the IBM proprinter and the
Epson RX80 depending on the setting of switch eight located
underneath the printer carriage--up (on?) for the proprinter, down
for the Epson. Drivers for both printers are available in Windows.
The Epson might be preferable since it produces italics. Better
solution: get Adobe Type Manager. It produces output (in either
emulation) that is spectacular by comparison.
