[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Restore

@crdgw1.ge.com:@ee.udel.edu:shearer@cis.udel.edu (exos:) (02/12/91)

Hello..

I think I saw someone mention at one time or another, a program that
will help me restore from a DOS 3.3 BACKUP command. The backup image
is getting errors on disk 8 out of 19. I basically need to jump to disk
9 and continue from there (or if there is a better program that can try
to fix the disk 8...)

Any help would be greatly appreciated... I looked at SIMTEL under
filutl, sysutl and didn't see anything that look like it would be what
I need..

Try restor55.zip from simtel20.

But I don't know if it can handle a trashed disk in the middle.
