Hi !
We bought the Host and Remote PC version of pcANYWHERE IV.
It came with both the host and remote software.
We are having problems running the software as after setting
it up, when the remote PC calls the Host, it prompts for the
Password, after typing in the password, the hosts sends a bunch of
stuff like the License Number/Registered User/Node name about 4 times
all over the screen and hangs up. I have maintain a common password
for the MASTER as well as the node connecting to it.
The modems that we used to test the software are both
Hayes Compatible, Novation Smart Cat Plus (1200) and Avatex (2400).
The PC tested on are AT compatibles.
Do we need 2 separate licenses to run the Host and Remote
together or does 1 license provide us the usage of the host and
remote software simultanously ? Have you come across this problem ?
