[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] I am looking for the board game RISK on IBM

C508860@UMCVMB.BITNET (02/22/91)

I would like to know if RISK is available; if there is a public-domain
version; and from where I could FTP it. Any leads would be helpful.

Please EMAIL all responses to:

C508860 @ UMCVMB.BITNET
        @ UMCVMB.MISSOURI.EDU

Thanks, Jeff.

I have seen and used an EGA version of RISK (probably shareware).
I don't know where to get it.

Much more interesting is the on-line multi-player BBS game: GLOBAL WAR.
Essentially RISK with a few adjustments.

Anyone know of FTP sites for the Global war terminal programs?
Anyone have any sort of list of BBSs with Global War?

I have an old basic (I think) version of risk.

I have a very good game of Risk called Conquest. You can even play it over
the modem with a friend.

If anyone would like a copy of the game, just mail me. I have uuencoded
the game and will send it to you on request. But beware, it is 174k.

I have an on-line multi-player BBS game that functions essentially like
RISK. Its big feature is that it allows you to define an essentially
unlimited number of your own maps and run an essentially unlimited number of
games.

A word processor does Note - use "alphalpha" instead of "alfalfa" or
