Yesterday, my hard drive would not park; a bit unusual, I thought, but nothing to worry about. It turned out not to be the case; this morning, I turned it on, and got a string of letters filling up the screen and causing it to scroll the screen. After a couple of reboots, it now pops up with the message, if I remember correctly, 'bad command file.' I work with PC's everyday, but I've never had this happen before. It won't even recognize the existence of the hard drive when I boot up from a floppy. What do I do now? Specs: 8086 Gateway 2000 clone, Seagate 30 meg drive. Dos 3.3 Thanks In Advance. E-mail replies, please; I DO read the newsgroup, but I'll summarize later for bandwidth purposes. -- David W. Millians millia@athena.cs.uga.edu All I say is untrue.
