Thanks to KB1BE and the Connecticut DX Association for the following
DX information.

ARRL DXCC desk.  The ARRL awards committee met on September 17 to
consider the country status of the Pribilof Islands.  The matter was
referred to the awards committee by the DX Advisory Committee which
had recommended addition to the list by a 9 to 7 vote.  After many
hours of studying the voluminous documentation and two hours of
in person deliberation, the awards committee unanimously voted, 7 to 0
that the Pribilof Islands NOT be added to the DXCC countries list.

Comoros:  Guido, PA0GMM is expected to operate from Grand Comoro
Island as D68DX September 17 to 24 and October 1 and 2.  He will also
run FH/PA0GMM from Mayotte September 26 to October 1.  He plans to
work 20 meter SSB and CW.  QSL to his home call.

Chad:     N7DF/TT8 is active on 20 and 40 meters, but will move to a
new location September 24 and is expected to work 80 and 160 meters.
QSL via K0HGW.

Western Samoa and Tokelaus:    ZL1AMO, Ron, is expected to be at 5W1CW
around October 12, and then Tokelaus as ZK3, which is a new prefix
replacing ZN7.

Papua New Guinea:     Jim Smith, P29JS is using P29PNG to help
celebrate the independence anniversary of the island.  Look for him
on 14220 KHz SSB at 0600 UTC and 3795 to 3800 KHz around 1130 to 1200
UTC.   

St Martin and St Marteen:     Joe, W3HNK, is expected to be at both
French FS and Dutch PJ7 September 26 to October 2.

Kermadec:   ZL4OY signing ZN8OY to start operations late this month
through December 31.

Macao:     XX9SP will be operated by KS9P from September 22 to 28.

Heard Island     Look for VK2BCC as VK0CC beginning at the end of
September.  AR
