[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] PD Pop-Up Date Reminder?

Is there any sort of public domain program that will, upon booting,
pop-up a little message reminding you of things to do that day, whatever?

I thought I could do this with SideKick, but I can't seem to get it to work
in quite the way I want it to; plus SK takes up too much memory for just
this small function.
