[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Xmodem for Unix

jer@pender.ee.upenn.edu (Joel Ratsaby) (03/06/91)

I have the MIRROR communication package that can communicate in the
Xmodem protocol. However the Unix Mainframe which I'm calling has only
Kermit. Kermit is too slow for the long files that I have to send.
Does anyone have a copy of Xmodem for Unix ?
Or anyother protocol package that is faster than Kermit >

		thanks

The latest versions of xmodem, ymodem, and zmodem are available via
anonymous FTP from wsmr-simtel20.army.mil. The files are located in
directory PD1:<misc.zmodem>. I also have the files here if anyone wants me
to mail it to them.
