I got DAK's CD-ROM package up and running with only one serious (correctable) hardware problem -- I had to place the interface card at least 2 slots away from my I/O controller board or I'd lose the second serial port and the parallel port. I don't know why. Apart from all of the previously reported bugs (esp. the CDPLAYER problem), I am facing one aggravating bug that I wonder if anyone can reproduce and confirm is not just my own problem. It's with LANGS.EXE (the languages of the world program). When it is loaded in memory, anytime I type a Ctrl-Z, no matter what I'm doing (e.g. in DOS, in WP, or while logged into a UNIX machine via KERMIT) the machine crashes completely, requiring a power-down to reset. I have an AT-386/25 clone with AMI Bios. ----------------------------------------------__------------------------------ David Albert | / ) / UUCP: ...!harvard!albert | / / __. , ___o __/ INTERNET: albert@harvard.edu |/__/__(_/|__\/ <___(_/_
