[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] looking for PC modula2 compiler

v087mxgb@ubvmsa.cc.buffalo.edu (Shawn E Thompson) (03/06/91)

Hello,

can you please point me to a source for a Modula2
compiler for the IBM PC, preferably something like
the MetroWerks Macintosh package....

TIA

A fairly nice one with a UI very similiar to Turbo Pascal V3.x is
called FST (Fitted Software Tools) Modula-2. It's located at
simtel-20 (and all the usual other places and ways) in
PD1:<MSDOS.MODULA2> and called M2*.ZIP. I've used it casually and it
seems to work. IMHO it is one of the best PD/Shareware M2 compiler
available. If you want a com M2 compiler, Logitech, Stony Brook, and
JPI all make quite nice ones.
