fcc released a memorandum opinion and  order  today  that  will
expand  the  races wartime frequencies to include the six meter
repeater subband, 52 to  54  mhz.  these  changes  result  from
petitions  filed by wb6hug and the southern california repeater
and remote base association and become effective  november  15,

just nineteen days after the u.s;  japan  reciprocal  operating
agreement took effect, five individual station licenses, 7j1aaa
through 7j1aae,  have  been  issued  to  u.s.  amateurs.   full
