[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] rotated text

Well I've got a problem that at first seemed trivial but after two
days of trying I can't figure it out. I want to include some
horizontal & rotated text on the same page of a document. I have
access to Word Perfect (PC & MAC) and MS WORD and Sprint or I can
send raw printer commands. The printer choices are Laserjet III with
hardware Postscript for the PC or some apple laser printer (no name
I could find on it since it's bolted in place and the front is against
a wall (I guess the round end is the front?). I have looked through
the manuals and asked all the local "experts" (students who do word
processing for cash) and the ones who know aren't willing to show me,
they'll just do a page for a fee. All this software is site liscenced
to the school, so I'm not trying to run a pirate copy without manuals, etc.

I don't have a scanner so I can't do the stuff as graphics. In desperation
I ran through the printer twice, once in normal mode and once in landscape,
but that still doesn't do 45 degree angles, etc. The Word Perfect manual
mentions that you can send stuff with raw Postscript commands and shows
a cryptic example, but gives no list of these Postscript commands or
how to use them.

By rotated text I mean not just each letter, but to pivot the line from
its first character as the center of a circle and rotate the line that
would go below it's characters through the degrees of a circle. Any help
would be appreciated.
