I, too, am looking for a generic disk read routine/utility. I need to
read disks formatted with 256 byte sectors, 18 sectors per track. Is
there any way to force the disk controller into that mode? if so, how?

If anyone has Turbo-C source code, that would be awesome! If there is
some sort of utility that does that that I can get from someone, that
would be nice, too :-)

Please email if you have any ideas. Thanks!
