I'm considering buying a new 33Mhz machine from Touche in Darien, IL. - AMI motherboard, 8MB RAM (I will buy more soon) - AMI bios - Ultrastor ESDI controller - ~200MB ESDI disk - Orchid VGA card, 1MB - Sony 1304 noninterlaced VGA monitor - 2 serial, 2 parallel - mouse, msdos, etc. - Tower case ~$3400 Any comments? I'm going to be developing stuff in various environments that appeal to me, running applications, and games. Multitasking only as it amuses me, no desire to layer UNIX. I can't build a config myself for less than this from what I've seen. I definitely want the noninterlaced monitor and I'm going to ditch their Keytronics keyboard for a Northgate (where I can put the control key where I want it to be).
