[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] how to turn screen to 80X50?

I have a Tseng 3000 VGA adapter card (whatever it is), is it possible to 
change my screen to 80X50 or even 132X50??  if the answer is yes, how do
I do that??   

any suggestion, or literiture is appreciated. thanks.
