There is also a very good mirror if it's MSDOS directories at wuarchive.wustl.edu in /mirrors/msdos... Did something happen to SIMTEL? The reason for this is that the InterNet gang finally deactivated the old Arpanet addresses (and MilNet ones, too, I think). The SIMTEL20 machine/site still exists and has lots of goodies. Try wsmr-simtel20.army.mil (that's the current InterNet address) - I don't know the InterNet node number address, but then again, you shouldn't need it. And some forward into the 80s, at least! Please. :-) Regards. -- Mark A. The simtel20 archives can be reached at: WSMR-SIMTEL20.ARMY.MIL AND WUARCHIVE.WUSTL.EDU <-- Mirror site. As far as I know, WUARCHIVE is still experiencing disk problems, due to a crash or something. As I haven't received any information to the contrary, I assume the problem still exists. WSMR is very slow and difficult to get into- I recommend you try non-peak hours. When WUARCHIVE is running properly, the speed of transfers is very good. //////////////////////////////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ +---------+ Scott Maxell -- IO92203 @ maine | | Pres.
