A friend of mine wants to do simple character I/O over the COM1 port from a Microsoft C program. We had found an interrupt routine that would let us do it from Turbo Pascal, and it worked fine; it was written in assembly and did not use DOS calls (we want to do this right). But the routine does not work properly with M-soft C. Does anyone know of a PD or commercial library for doing serial I/O, or would anyone be willing to tell us how to go about it? We're stumped, and don't know enough about the M-soft C environment to debug these interrupt routines...please e-mail if you have any pointers.
