[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] 386 Motherboard for AST Premium 286???

6500boo@ucsbuxa.ucsb.edu (William Bushing) (04/07/91)

Greetings netters!

Anyone out there have any recommendations on a good 386
(preferably DX) motherboard that will fit into an AST
Premium 286 case? I think it's time to upgrade the "old"
system for compatibility with my other setup.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Bill

Someone told me that I would need an AST motherboard for my AST Premium 286
because of its power supply. I never followed up on his opinion by calling
AST. A good motherboard would be DTK, but then it is a bit pricey.
